The Overlake School
May 2011
Dear Bob,
Thank you for another wonderful college tour that you provided this year for Overlake students and counselors. In the 5+ years that I have worked with College Visits to plan our annual college tour, you and your staff have always been such a pleasure to work with-professional, responsive, and meticulous in handling of arrangements for my group of 30+ students each year.
Whether we are touring colleges on the east or west coast, working with College Visits has always been such a positive experience. You all are certainly expert in providing a first-class college tour experience for both my students and fellow counselors. As a result, our families know that the trip arranged by College Visits will provide not only a quality learning experience for their students, but also comfortable accomodations-from lodging and meals to transportation. Your attention to details allows us, the school chaperones, to focus on the students! Consequently, our students always indicate they find the tour to be an "amazing and fun experience," as well as educational!
Thanks for all you do to provide this wonderful servicce to members of our community. I look forward to planning our next college tour in California with you and your staff this fall.
Sincerely,
Diane Freytag, M. Ed.

Antilles School
May 2011
Dear Bob,
I want to thank you for once again coming through with a superb tour for our group of juniors from two different St. Thomas schools. They just spent their Spring Break travelling from Boston to Washington, DC, and they returned having benifitted enormously from the trip. Communications in advance of the tour were frequent and helpful, logistics for the trip were impeccable, and you dealt with my annual last minute fine tuning to help particular students in your initially skeptical, but ultimately wise and flexible manner. Having known you for more than 20 years, and started working with you on College Visits tours when I arrived at Antilles School in 2003, nothing about the quality of the tour surprised me. I suppose the highest praise I can give-beyond what all the students learned by getting to one campus after another right on time-is that I have accepted your invitation to go on another of your tours this July. While I have to do a college tour each Spring Break as part of my job, I am under no obligation to do more. I have signed on because I know my main job will be to count heads, check beds, and share what I know about colleges and universities, having visited about 250 over the course of the past 30 years. You, your staff, and one of your proffesional drivers will take care of everything else! Thank you again for another great tour and see you this summer.
Best Wishes,
Chris Teare

Holland School
April 2006
Dear Bob,
This is the first year that we have organized a college tour for our students. We did so with a mixture of excitement and trepidation. Our trip was and ambitious one eighteen students visiting six cities and nineteen colleges in seven days. Because of your efforts and professionalism, our experience could not have been better. The colleges were all notified of our arrivals, hotel were ready and waiting each night, and buses were right on time and exactly where we needed them to be. Despite the mammoth undertaking and countless details, our trip was surprisingly stress free! We will definitely be using College Visits next year. Many thanks to you and your staff.
Sincerely,
Dr. David A. Crynes

The American School in England
March 17, 2006
Dear Robert,
I wanted to send you quick note of thanks and appreciation for the fantastic Northeast College Tour that you organized and chaperoned for me, my Associate Director, Amy Christie, and our 19 students from TASIS, The American School in England.
As TASIS is an International School with many students interested in attending college in the United States, College Visits provides an invaluable service. Because our students have limited opportunities to visit colleges in the U.S. with their own families, this tour has added a dimension to their college search that they otherwise would have missed. Furthermore, the itinerary of the trip and the options for each student were far more comprehensive than any one family could complete on its own. Even though the beginning of our trip was delayed for a day due a blizzard in Boston, each student visited 9 colleges over the course of five days, with the total number of schools visited totaling over twenty. During our flight back to London, more than one student mentioned that he was now qualified to write a college guide book!
However, while the quantity of schools was impressive, what really set this trip apart was the quality with which you orchestrated it. Starting with the planning and registration procedures by yourself and Catherine Clifton, College Visits set up a tour that ran like clockwork and saved me untold hours of work. Most impressive were your services as our lead chaperone, as you allowed our students the freedom to enjoy their week and learn about the schools while maintaining the order and organization necessary to keep everyone safe and on schedule.
I will certainly be contacting you in the future, Robert. I wouldn’t think of organizing a college trip without College Visits.
Sincerely,
Jack Whelan
